How long is the cold lead on the DCM-PRO cable?
DCM-PRO Cable
The cold lead is 10’ long for the DCM-PRO cable.
The conductor cores and ground braid of the 10′ cold lead are factory joined in a water resistant joint assembly to each supply conductor and ground conductor of the unheated lead.
The joint must be embedded in the thin set or leveler to prevent the system from becoming damaged. When laying you heating system, try to start the cable where you plan on installing your thermostat.
Never cross or place the cold lead closer than 2″ from any heater cable. Please refer to the installation manual for further instructions.
