Will the membrane keep it’s decoupling capability over time?

Since the membrane does not disintegrate, we do not expect any changes to it’s original properties.
To ensure decoupling, the Warmup membrane is designed to shift overtime with your floor. Over long periods of time you may find that the glue hardens slightly on peel-and-stick membrane but this is normally only after the house has fully settled and membrane shifting is no longer required.
