What are the different Heating Schedule options on my thermostat?

Your EZPT Thermostat allows you to schedule heating in 2 different ways: 5-1-1 Schedule or 7-Day Schedule.

The 5-1-1 Heating Schedule allows you to establish time and temperature schedules for all weekdays combined and Saturday and Sunday individually.

The 7-Day Heating Schedule allows you to establish time and temperature schedules for each day of the week individually.

How do I set a 5-1-1 Heating Schedule on my thermostat?

To set a 5-1-1 heating schedule on your thermostat, start by pressing the “Edit” button at the bottom of the screen. Then, press “Heating Schedules” and then “5+1+1.”

On the next screen, you will see a list of all days of the week. Press the tick box next to one of the weekdays. All weekdays will automatically be selected to edit. Press the check mark button in the bottom left to continue.

Next, you will see a list of heating periods. There will either be 2 or 4 heating periods depending on which thermostat location you have set. The default number of periods is 4, referred to as “Wake,” “Leave,” “Return,” and “Sleep.” You can set the time frame and target temperature individually for each of these 4 periods.

Press the first heating period to edit it. You will be prompted to adjust the time and temperature for the heating period. For both parameters, use the up and down arrows to select the target temperature and it’s start time. Then, press the check mark button in the bottom left to confirm the setting.

After confirming, you will be taken back to the period selection screen, where you can continue to repeat this process for the remaining heating periods.

After adjusting the heating schedules for each period, press the back arrow in the top left to return to the day selection screen. Select either Saturday, Sunday, or both to set a weekend heating schedule and repeat the above steps. When you’re finished, press the back arrow button in the bottom right to return to the “Heating Schedule” menu and then use the arrow in the top left to return to the main screen.

Ensure that your thermostat mode is set to “Automatic” so that your heating schedules will be enabled.
